A US-based community group is routing donor dollars into rural Punjab classrooms through a Sept. 21 golf tournament — and the logistics of that handoff matter as much as the check size.
US Philanthropy Circle will host its inaugural Hope Through Education Charity Golf Classic & Gala at Panther Valley Golf & Country Club in Hackettstown, N.J., with net proceeds directed to Roundglass Foundation's Learn Labs program. Organizers expect 80 to 100 golfers, plus family and guests for the evening gala. Learn Labs runs as a network of after-school, community-based hubs bolted onto village schools and community centers across rural Punjab.
