Understanding the critical role of environmental stewardship, RFC also involves volunteers in various sustainability projects within schools. Our initiatives include:

Planting Saplings: Volunteers participate in planting trees and saplings in and around school premises, contributing to a greener environment and teaching students about the importance of trees and biodiversity.

Setting Up Kitchen Gardens: By establishing kitchen gardens in schools, we aim to provide students with hands-on learning experiences about sustainable agriculture, nutrition, and the importance of healthy eating habits. These gardens serve as living classrooms where children can engage with nature and understand the sources of their food.

Wet Waste Composting: Volunteers help set up composting systems to manage organic waste within schools. This not only reduces waste but also teaches students the principles of recycling and composting, fostering a sense of responsibility towards the environment.
